NEWS: Pitchfork Announces Inaugural London Multi-Venue Festival Edition From November 10-14 202



Pitchfork is delighted to announce the first edition of Pitchfork Music Festival Londonfrom 10 - 14 November 2021. With a series of 12+ very special events, the inaugural London Festival edition will feature performances from a diverse and wide scope of over 50 exciting new and established artists around various iconic spaces in the capital across 5 days - a celebration of music returning to such an important set of venues across the city in the Autumn. The festival series will feature a mix of unique, one-off individual performances, collaborations, special showcases and curated multi-act line-ups. Bobby Gillespie & Jenny Beth debut their collaborative album, the PC Music label present “Love Goes On” - a showcase from the label & friends at Fire Nightclub, plus vital contemporary talents Anna Meredith, Mykki Blanco and more will top curated bills at Fabric and Village Underground respectively. There will be a late night Friday appearance at the Southbank Centre from breakthrough art-rock band Black Midi, plus more other special weekday events. The weekend then turns to multi-act festival line-ups: Stereolab make a rare London appearance to top a special Roundhouse event (14th November) featuring the likes of Girl Band, Beak>, Ana Roxanne and more, whilst Moses Boyd, Nilüfer Yanya, Emma Jean Thackary & Cktrl will highlight the quality of London’s jazz and affiliated scene at the recently refurbished Hackney Church (13th November), and Tirzah, Koreless, Mica Levi’s Good Sad Happy Bad project and many more appear on a club-orientated line up across 3 x venues in the Oval Space compound (13th November). The London festival will run back-to-back with Pitchfork Music Festival Paris, now in its 10th year and taking place from November 16-20. Pitchfork has cultivated a global reputation for hosting eclectic music events where die-hard fans can expand their musical palettes, and witness one-of-a-kind performances by some of their favorite acts. Music aficionados and Pitchfork readers have been traveling across the world to experience the brand’s annual festivals in Chicago and Paris since 2006. Pre-sale tickets will be available on Wednesday June 30 at 10am BST, with general on-sale to follow on Friday July 2 at 10am BST.
