NEWS: shame Present Live Concert Film 'Live In The Flesh'

Earlier this year, shame released their new album, Drunk Tank Pink (Dead Oceans), an enormous expansion of their sonic arsenal. Today, they present Live in the Flesh, an curiously strange documentary/live concert film directed by Molten Jets. shame have long been recognized for their “charged and rambunctious” (Pitchfork) performances, and Live in the Flesh captures one of their signature, impassioned sets, reminding us of the power of them in a sweaty concert setting.

The film was recorded at Brixton Electric, and in addition to showcasing seven tracks from Drunk Tank Pink, features behind-the-scenes documentary footage of the band preparing for the performance, relaxing backstage with a series of strange friends and hangers-on. Shame elaborate: “Flesh has never felt more real than it has in this new blockbuster documentary, shame - Live in the Flesh. The hits are heavy, the misses are frequent, and the screenplay is near perfection.”
